Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: OK-PH-1
Station Name: Antlers 6.3 SE
Report Date: 11/8/2025
Submitted: 11/08/2025 7:23 AM
Scale Bar: Moderately Dry
Description:
Warmer than average temperatures and dry weather persisted over the past seven days with no measurable Rainfall in sight anytime soon. This has resulted in soils continuing to dry out, and with a freeze expected tomorrow night this will put an end to the growing season for the year. Next, I recently planted our two Brown Turkey Figs, and it is my hope they will stay healthy as we get closer towards winter. I also have recently checked on our two Dunstan Chestnut trees, and our Kieffer Pear tree and they are starting to show fall colors and losing leaves the rest of the way, especially since they had lost a lot of their leaves previously Due to the lack of rain. Sadly, we didnt have a decent chance to collect very many pears this year for various reasons, but our Kieffer Pear did put on a impressive first year crop of pears. It is our hope that we will be more prepared to harvest pears better next year. Lastly, area wildlife has been active with multiple sightings of the ladybug like Asian beetles, many wasps, a few bees, various species of birds, and you can also hear coyotes howling at night too.
