We have only received 0.04 in. of rain this week, so the soil has been able to dry out.  It has been cold at night and not too bad during the day, so the heat runs at night then is off during daylight hours.  Fall color was at peak, but I noticed this morning the wind this week has brought lots of leaves down.  Halloween had great weather for trick-or-treaters.  Lady bugs are swarming the house and are everywhere.  I have still had a few mosquitoes in the house this week as well.  Large flocks of robins have been moving through the last few days.  We are definitely in the peak of Fall!
