As of 11/6 0" of precipitation for November, on the way to 2.01" monthly average. August through October months were a total of 3.11" below average. Small ponds are completely dry, with larger 1 ac. ponds nearly dried up. Small creeks are not running and almost completely dry. The condition trend is Moderately Dry. Ground soaked up any late October showers. Some corn and soybeans still to be harvested. Very dry conditions should help that effort along. A major cold front is expected this weekend with no precipitation expected. This is unfortunate as bushes and trees may already be stressed heading into winter. I believe that many Songbirds have already migrated, along with some geese with recent north winds. This weekend should push some waterfowl south due to a major snow system in Canada, however with no snow cover in northern states, they will not likely be pushing this far south yet.
