Cloudy becoming mostly sunny and warm with light winds, then mostly clear and cool overnight with light winds, becoming cloudy before dawn. The high temperature was around sixty five degrees and the low around forty four degrees Fahrenheit. Songbirds are eating a feederful every two days. Asters, Chicory and Queen Anne's Lace are still blooming. Apples are ripening, over 2/3 are gone. Over 2/3 the leaves are turning color, some maples are over 3/4 red. Most Black Walnuts have fallen. 30%-35% of leaves have fallen. Milkweed is going to seed. Canadian Geese, Blackbirds and sparrows have larger flocks. Some of the nearby trout stream is still dry. More corn fields are cut.
