We are in the level just above drought in my area of SW Ohio.  We have had less than a tenth of an inch of rain in September and an inch in August.  Tree leaves are yellowing, browning, and falling off the trees--in fact they have been for a couple of weeks.  Plants are dry, and lawns are going totally brown. No outdoor open fires.  We may get rain this weekend, but that's a big if according to weather forecasters in our area.
