Station Number: KY-CB-10
Station Name: Wilder 0.2 ESE
Report Date: 9/16/2025
Submitted: 9/16/2025 8:16 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
Pond level a little below normal. The lawns are approximately 40 percent mildly brown and 60 percent moderately green. Most of the vegetation is still near normal with a few trees starting to drop a few leaves, which is normal. The ground surface is dry; but there is still some moisture a foot or so below the surface. Base on vegetation, not quite in D0 - ABNORAMLLY DRY yet. Had 1.12" of precipitation during the last 30 days which is still has not yet met the threshold criteria of less than 1" on the gauge for abnormally dry conditions. Had 6.21" which is 90 percent the normal precipitation during the past 2 months and also had 9.03" which is 90 percent the normal amount for the last 3 months. This means were are not yet in beginning of a drought or not yet in moderate drought. If we do not get rain during the next 3 days, our area will hit D0 - ABNORMALLY DRY - BEGINNING OF A DROUGHT this Friday September 19, 2025 as the criteria of less than 1" on the gauge for a 30 day period and when the lawns approach 50 to 75 percent brownness will likely be met then.
