Over half an inch of moisture since last report has increased some green around, but the general plant community is still relatively dry. As you go out several miles to the west, north and east, these regions have gotten significantly more rainfall in the last week compared to this location. Grateful for the moisture here though, but need more to be considered anything close to “Mildly Dry”. Feed growth is not enough to stop reducing the cattle stocking rate during the fall cattle works.
