We're gotten no rain since the 4th and thigs are getting very dry. We've had only about a half inch of rain all month and no rain is predicted for the next ten days. Last September was very dry and this one is shaping up to be worse. I am watering my gardens aain because we are heading out of town for a week. Trees are dropping dried up leaves, lawns getting brown. Other areas of the state have had rain but except for one day it has missed us. Birds are using feeders and water soures again. Plants are drooping in areas I don't water. We really need a good soaking.
