Several storms of heavy rain yesterday and early this morning deposited 2.45 inches of rain for a MTD total of 3.33 inches, 159% of NOAA 30 year norm. Marked bar at Mildly Dry due to YTD being 82% of NOAA Norm and WYTD being 79% of NOAA Norm.  Water Restrictions in place in neighboring Woodstock and Crystal Lake. Grass is green, and rain means I will not need to be watering raised beds and planters for a few days, a change from daily watering needed this past hot week. Good to see many butterflies on zinnias and bees on salvia.  Wild Turkey and one offspring wandering yard daily.
