Less than 1/4" rain this week.  Soil is dry, ponds & creeks low.  Corn and beans showing more ripening. Sumacs and dogwoods joining the walnuts in showing color.  Deer, crows, raccoons and possums still eating pears.  Turkeys making daily appearances, poults bigger than crows now.
