With over an inch of rain this past week, conditions remain near normal. High heat and humidity is back and will stick around for a couple additional days, but there are chances of rain with this heat. Grass has slowed a bit but is still being cut a couple times a week and is showing minimal signs of heat stress. I have provided some supplemental watering to the garden and potted plants, but minimally. Area crops continue to look good, with the ears of corn looking quite full from the road. Beans are still green and maturing. Area rivers are at their normal levels for this time of year.
