We have had a couple of wet episodes this week with a few resulting to much needed rain. This has led to several benefits and disadvantages. One, this has contributed to reduction in pollen levels. This rain has indeed helped with drought improvements in the area. Some disadvantages were present as well. Rivers started to rise slightly given the above average rain. This led to some rapid runoff for some small streams and also led to murky waters given the excess rain amounts.
