Description:
Only a trace of precipitation for the last 9 days has left the soil surface dry but soil moisture remains below 2 inches from surface.
Creeks and small streams continue to have snow melt induced flows but are now free of turbidity.
Winter wheat crop continues to have healthy growth.
Most orchard trees are in full blossom.
Several wildland grass fires ignited by lightening strikes and railroad train sparks in the area during the week, all quickly contained.  Fire danger remains low but will rise to moderate if precipitation continues lacking.
