Another 2.50+ inches of rain the past week. Ground is saturated. Trees are starting their color transition especially the swamp maples. Most of the birds have strangely disappeared with just a few squirrels around and many chipmunks stashing food for the winter. Gardens and lawns doing well with all the rain. Local brook running a bit below bankfull.
