Tucker Pond is still ice covered with some breaks noted along the shoreline. Feeder streams are running normally with a nice slow meltdown. Lots of downed limbs and branches in the forest from the recent storm and persistent winter winds.  Some new sprouts noted on hemlocks.  Some vernal pools beginning to emerge. Beaver activity requires daily branch removal at the dam. Snowpack around 11-12"
