This station currently stands at just shy of 75% of March PRISM average, and there’s little in the forecast to suggest we’ll hit that number. Still, things are pretty much normal – soils are nicely moist. Lawn is greening up; early perennial ornamentals are throwing shoots and buds are appearing in various species. Pond level and wildlife activity normal – with one delightful change: seeing a lot more otter activity recently. Wouldn’t be surprised to see ospreys return within the next week or two.
