Cold to start last Sunday before warming to much milder temperatures than of late and moisture to end the week. Last Sunday's low was 19°, which was the low of the week, and then warmed to lows mostly in the 30's and 40's. Highs were mostly in the 50's all week with a high of 58° on Saturday. It was breezy on a lot of days last week but nothing too bad. It was dry all week until Saturday when subtropical moisture moved in from the south with rain starting just after noon. Rain continued off and on all night and the 7:00 a.m. observation recorded .69 inches. No sign of the garlic coming up and the surrounding areas are brown from the plants dying from the cold or having gone into dormancy. Saw a raven and some more small brown birds. Maybe Titmouses?
