I was in a meeting in a downstairs (no windows) classroom at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, 41.41.51 N., 74.52.50 W. Someone entered about 11:15 and reported that "we just had a fierce hailstorm, and the ground is covered with hail." By the time we went back upstairs, about 11:45, there was no hail left, just very wet grounds. The precip reported at my registered location on 3/29 was in my gauge when I returned 3/28 evening; how it fell I cannot say. |
