Current conditions at 7AM: Ripples and squalls on the Potomac River from the WSW, no trash, two clumps of natural debris to the south, patches of Hydrilla along the Maryland shore, two fish jumping, improved water quality with about ten inches of visibility into the water. Temperature: 72°F. USGS 01653600 Piscataway Creek gauge height at 6:30 EST: 3.20 feet with a sharp spike in both charts reflecting the rain we received last night. Canada geese, songbirds, jays, crickets, red mushrooms, one bumble bee, one squirrel, crows, cormorants, one osprey, few gulls and one belted kingfisher.
