 actually there was one small drop, but I wondered whether it was from yesterday. wet grass, grey sky. If it just keeps looking like rain but never rains I may have to water the blueberries. I was told to never note on this public place that I am leaving town. But I have two dogs and two cats, so always have a housesitter, this time the recently retired Honolulu assistant chief of police. And my neighbors, who believe that shotguns are part of rural life, come check if any person or vehicle comes up the drive, whether I am home or not.
