Current conditions at 7AM: Overcast, haze, no wind. Ripples on the Potomac River from the NNW, trash and debris litters the entire stretch of river, especially in the channel and it is moving upstream, one fish, about six inches of visibility into the water. Temperature: 69°F. USGS 01653600 Piscataway Creek gauge height at 6:30 EST: 3.23 feet. Songbirds, mourning doves, one pileated woodpecker, crickets, crows, moths, dragon flies, big ants, mosquitos, mushrooms, two gulls, one great blue heron on the Virginia shore, ospreys and eagles.
