Current conditions at 7AM: Temperature: 72°F. Overcast, wet, fog. Ripples on the Potomac River from the SSW, about eight inches visibility into the water, no trash or debris, no fish. Songbirds, crickets, mosquitos, cormorants, gulls, ospreys and one juvenile eagle above the landing. USGS 01653600 Piscataway Creek gauge height at 6:30 EST: 4.25 feet with a spike after midnight that is twice as high as other recent spikes.
