Notes: Overnight and through mid day yesterday, 1.93" fell with two bouts of hail. The first was quarter-sized hail, and the second was brief, very small hail. The evening wave of storms broughht 1.04" of rain and more brief very small hail. Thunderstorms throughout the day brought a lot of intense lightning, heavy drenching rains, and high winds. Reports in the area include lightning striking a tree and a vehicle, as well as water rushing up basement drains.
