Notes:
0.01" was the total for3/10/26. 1.09" was the totalfor 3/11/26. Most of that rain total fellafter midnight. There was lots of lightning and thunder for hours during the wee hours of Wednesday morning. At 1:12 a.m., there was an instantaneous and extremely loud boom that shook the whole house, making me think there may have been a strike very close by. I witnessed lightning bolts as well as cloud to cloud flashing of light. There may have been a strike to the north of us, too, because I saw a bolt go straight down to the ground. There is flooding on our property and in the field behind us that we might see once or twice a year.
