Began hearing distant frequent thunder about 7:30 am. Light rain began about 7:45am and 0.05 inches of rain was in gauge at 8am. Thunder continued and heavy rain began about 8:20 am, then falling at moderate quieter rate about 8:45 am. This continued and now is a light drizzle with an additional 0.78 inches in gauge for a storm total of 0.83 inches of much needed rain. My station got 0.10 inches of precip for month of February. |
