Steady heavy rain most of yesterday has changed to occasional. High winds often to 20 mph and maybe higher have brought down some branches, debris and some wires down. But quickly repaired. Yesterday high tide was well above current mean high tide mark, erasing beach temporarily. Street flooding in higher areas like my street were Not too bad,some slight flooding but there was storm surge in low lying areas of north longbranch and neighboring towns of monmouth beach and seabright with many streets impassable due to storm surge flooding |
