Description:
Mild temperatures and wet conditions for the week. (01 MAY to 06 MAY) 

Precipitation for the period was 0.89", +0.05” Cal yr 17.66” +6.21” 

Evaporation, from Eto instrument, was 0.94" for a water balance deficit of -0.05" for the period. 

Soil moisture at 4” depth averaged 0.08 cb and at 8” depth 0.03 cb. Very wet soils

Temperatures averaged 60.6 degrees, +1.9 above normal for the period. Soil temperatures, for the period, at 2” have averaged 53.2 degrees, 4” average is 54.5 degrees, 8” average is 55.7 degrees and 20” average is 54.0 degrees. 

All plants are growing well and some blooming. Dandelions have made their appearance and blooming. Lawns are green and have had their multiple mows of the season. 90% of the trees have leafed out and the other 10% are flowering/budding. Spring birds have returned in abundance. Plenty of birds are frequenting the feeder now rabbits and chipmunks are now out and about.
