Water Supply & Quality
This week the total rain was 0.43", but the soil remains moist. Grass & garden plants are growing well. (Had to mow today.) The forest is nearly leafed out and losing the spring green in some places. New wildflowers blooming include blue bead lily, Solomon's plume, and both Fraser and umbrella magnolia trees. Large-flowered trilliums have turned pink. More warblers have returned to nest. The drinking spring remains excellent. The microhydro is still running on full.

Water Supply & Quality
The rains in recent days have brought moisture to the soil although the very top still needs watering frequently for newly planted seeds. Springs and creeks are a little low.

General Awareness
We have not had a lot of rain but still have a puddle here or there. We got garden beds set up and even planted some vegetables. It has been fairly warm this week as well. Could it be that Summer ifs making an early appearance?
