The last measurable precipitation was on April 2, and so the soil is dry and dusty, with blowing dust and critical fire weather conditions during wind. Plant growth is slowing due to no recent rain. April precipitation is well below normal so far.  Some trees are not healthy, with bare branches that did not get leaves this spring.  Our water supply is adequate with no quality problems.
