Some rain has fallen in the area after most of the month has been dry, About 1.35" here in the last few days of April causing some flooding in areas that received upwards of 4-5" nearby. Shoal Creek is flowing a bit better now.  Deer are active and other small animals and turkeys are moving about .  Spring flowers are in bloom. The Peonies and Iris are filling the beds. The hummingbirds are arriving. Fire danger has lowered due to the rains this week but high gusty winds are still making for hight fire danger. Pastures and hay meadows are looking good.
