Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
After a high of 63° last Sunday, high temperatures rose and stayed around 70 degrees all week. The high of the week was 72° on Tuesday and Thursday. Lows were in the 30's all week with the lowest temperature last Sunday at 33°. It was breezy at times last week and mostly clear with no precipitation falling. The surrounding wildland areas are very green with grasses and other plants. Thrip seems to have infested some fruit trees and I had to spray the trees. The lilacs are about to bloom. A male bullocks oriole is frequently visiting the bird bath. It's the third May in a row I've seen a bullocks oriole here. The swallows have visited the yard but have not tried building a nest. A lot finches and black birds are also visiting the bird bath. Have also seen a few garter snakes in the yard.
