Rain gauge: 0.01 inches of dew, ET gauge: 0.96 inches, temperature: 39°F, cold, mist, lots of dew, the under side of fallen leaves in the orchard felt very much like a trace of frost - for that reason the ET Gauge was taken in for the winter. Breeze and squalls on the Potomac River from the ENE almost due east, low swells from the NW, about nine inches of visibility into relatively clear water, no trash or debris, no fish. Canada geese, songbirds, one cottontail, jays, crows, and gulls. |
