Notes
The wind blew and the rain fell yesterday (mixed with snow and sleet for a bit during mid day) until about 6 P.M. Once it cleared off and the wind then stopped it was a very pretty evening. A few big puddles, but all in all, the steady rate it fell at allowed it to soak into our ever so dry ground. Generally the ground wasn't even muddy after all that rain - it was fairly well pounded with wind driving the rain. Appeared as though mother nature was cleaning everything up and sweeping it away. Overnight low was 30° which resulted in a lot of frost due to the moisture that is in everything. There go the apricot blossoms! Other fruit trees not quite as far along. All the up-coming 1000 hyacinths and 1600+ tulips should probably be fine and are looking all the better because of the moisture.
