The sky began to grow ominously dark after 7pm on 9/1/2026. However, we remained on the edge of a heavy thunderstorm. Very light rain fell between 7:45pm and 9pm. Flashes of lightning were frequent to the north initially with a few rumbles of thunder. There was a single loud rumble at 8:35pm. Flashes of lightning were frequent to the east and south between 9pm and 9:45pm.
