SUMMARY FOR YESTERDAY MONDAY JULY 16 TH 2018 : PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES , HOT AND HUMID , WITH SCATTERED CUMULUS DURING THE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON AND THEN TRANSFORMING INTO TOWERING CUMULUS IN THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS . THE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 92 DEGREES WITH A HEAT INDEX OF 95 DEGREES . ..... OVERNIGHT : MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES , AN AREA OF HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS MOVED THROUGH AROUND 5:15 A.M. THIS MORNING WITH INTENSE THUNDER AND LIGHTNING AND A TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR LASTING FOR APPROXIAMATELY 30 MINUTES . THE OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 70 DEGREES .
