 New snowfall is an estimate due to wind during and after the snow. Snowflakes were small, hard and grainy and mixed with what appeared to be small graupel. It was the kind of windy winter precipitation that stings your face like windblown sand and makes it hard to keep your eyes open when you are out in it. Nearly all of the show here fell between about 3:15 PM and 3:45 PM.
