Notes
Not sure when snow started but it was snowing hard by 8:00 PM. last night and snowed fairly hard to at least close to 9:30 PM. By 8:40 PM. we had close to .9" and by 9:30 PM. my tracks were covered up and ground lights were almost covered , low to ground small floodlight type , and everything looked evenly covered including bare ground , dirt . The snow stuck good and did not drift much , saw gust to 40 mph. , because it was wet . By this AM. because of temp. to 19 degrees and the wind it was all blown around and drifted but I believe from what I saw @ 9:30 PM. and later last night and what I measured it slight protected areas like on the back side of lilacs and livestock thin wire fencing 6' to 7' from them we had @ least 1.3" if not more . Had a lot of 2" large areas . Still had some old snow and ice in spots but not much , in shaded areas , nowhere near where I measured .
