 Most of the precipitation, 0.28 of an inch, fell within a 10-minute period on Sunday afternoon, from 1359 to 1409 MDT. Pea-sized hail accompanied the rainfall. In fact, the funnel opening of the rain gauge was clogged with small hail when I checked the gauge, leading me to believe that the total amount of gauge-measured precipitation may have been less than what actually occurred.
