Notes
 3.0” snow and ice on the board, but measured 3.5” on the ground. All the trees and bushes are coated in ice, but it doesn’t seem thick enough to cause damage or power issues. Not precipitating at the time of reading the gauge. Temperature is just below freezing - 31. The snow/ice in the gauge looked like more than when I took cores and the melted values bear that out. It can’t just be that the snow/ice on the ground is more packed down because they would then still have more equivalent melted values, wouldn’t they?
