Notes
Heavy heavy blowing and drifting of snow. Not too confident in numbers, but probably not too far off. I found 0.4 in new snow on snowboard yesterday at 12:10 pm. Today it is completely cleaned by the wind. Maximum drift was 46 inches at 12:20 pm yesterday, that same drift is now 35 inches. Plowed open field (meaning away from all obstructions) 0-6 inches and 3.0 is the most common reading. There was a thin layer of ice on top of almost all of the snow in the field. Update: Visibility was spectacular, 201300Z 15SM. Had 4.0 inches of total snow 12:10 pm, but was less this morning for whatever reason, maybe blew away or compacted.
