Two weeks ago snowpack was 11.0" and one week ago 7.0", but today was 2.0" ~ the early spring warmth unusual and effective at wiping out our snow. As a consequence, roadside ditches have standing water. This does not mitigate the winter-long dry spell except by transient appearance of puddles, so I'm choosing Mildly Dry. Turkeys joined white-tailed deer and red fox this week in the yard. Birdsong exuberant. Turtle Creek at normal level for March. Saw a jogger in SHORTS yesterday!!!
