During the past week (1/11-1/17), my station received 0.33 inches of precipitation, up from 0.02 inches received last week.   Over the past 4 weeks, my station has received 1.64 inches of precipitation.  Conditions are currently Near Normal.   Temperatures this week have been fairly normal.  We’ve had many small snowfalls, so the ground has been consistently coated with a thin layer of snow.   I’ve seen the squirrels eating the snow this week.   There has also been an unusual amount of bird activity (geese flying, robins and starlings feeding, other small birds that I haven’t seen since fall have reappeared).
