Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: IL-LS-34
Station Name: La Salle 0.1 W
Report Date: 1/18/2021
Submitted: 1/18/2021 8:08 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
The same tiresome old snow with a layer of ice on the bottom has now remained on the ground with occasional small additions to it for 22 days. This past week, Jan. 11-17, we had some partial melting while more light snow fell on three days. There are animal tracks in the snow all over the place, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, stray cats, probably possums. I've seen and heard crows several times, which is not usual here. I've stopped shoveling my sidewalks because it's safer to walk in the snow than on cleared, but frequently icy walks.
