This week we had a total of 3.95” of rain. The brown grass from last month’s dry period has changed to vibrant green.  The Eno River where I walk is up to the bank and most of the rocks are below the surface.  Compared to dry May when the level was low enough to expose many rocks and it did not reach the normal banks.  And compared to April when we had 4.5” in less than two days and the Eno flooded over the banks.  Good news is the Eno did not flood from recent rains because they were spread out over days.
