Little rain for the past month then 1 in. in two days. Soaking rain has perked up all the plants. Grass grew 2" between Tuesday and Saturday. Foothills are still green. Cold rainy days were snowfall above about 6,000ft-- ridges along the foothills and peaks above are covered in white again. Birds and insects are busy, so many shrubs and gardens are blooming. Pine pollen was extreme early in the week. Everything covered in a mist of yellow pollen.
