Description:
In the past week, we received only a trace of rain.  The low wet spot is grayish brown and is showing signs of cracking.  No foot print could be made as the ground is hard.  The Forsythia leaves are showing signs of starting to wilt.  The Shagbark Hickory nuts are about 34 mm in diameter.  The Pyracantha berries are close to 4 mm in diameter.  The grapes high up are being eaten by the birds.  The Rose bush has but 2 flowers left.  The Crepe Myrtles are blooming and growing more flowers.  The Glossy Abelia has been losing more flowers than they are growing.  The Gardenia has two flowers on it.  The cherry tomatoes are maturing and are being harvested.
