Recent rains have been spotty in my area. My monthly rainfall total now stands at .52" bringing my YTD total to .88". Long term average YTD rainfall for Carlsbad (1900 - 2016) is 4.64". Forecast high temps of near 100º or above today and the rest of the week with 107 by Saturday will not help our ongoing moderate drought conditions.
