While YTD precip is close to Above Normal and WYTD is Above Normal, MTD is an abysmal 23% of normal at 0.78 inches compared to NOAA 30 year norm of 3.41 inches. Early morning rain today of 0.46 inches helped but lawn is browning out in sunny areas, and the 0.53 inches that fell this week is half of the guide of “1 inch of water per week in summer.” So my time watering with the hose has decreased, but is still necessary.
