Heavier rain accumulations in the latter part of the week slid the weekly scale to moderately wet ending with a total of 1.44” for a weekly catch. Plant life is generally strong and green and not stressed by the abundance of water. Creek levels remain elevated especially after rains of over ½”. The lawns are needing to be mowed twice weekly to look presentable but the ground is too soft to mow that often. A couple of days without rain is needed so the tractor doesn't make ruts.The mosquito population has exploded and insect repellent is a must if venturing near or into the woods.
