Conditions improved this week.  We had 0.71" of precipitation.  I watched a neighbor do an agricultural burn in his hay meadow on Saturday, the 22nd, and I was surprised how readily the brush and grass burned in spite of the moisture, so I am keeping us in the mildly dry category.
